Our team works tirelessly to coordinate programming in a community group setting to promote social, physical and emotional well being.
Our Day Support Program works towards the acquisition, retention or improvement of self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills.
Services are provided to individuals in a residential setting. It consists of an array of training activities, assistance, and supervision.
Rae’s Playze provides seniors and those with mental and physical disabilities an opportunity to become independent and improve their overall well-being. Our goal is to provide duality healthcare services while showing compassion, love, integrity, respect, and promoting the well-being of those in the communities we servo Rae’s Playze has been serving the Charlotte community for over 12 years, making it a highly respected and sought after facility.
Our mission is to provide quality habilitative services to the elderly and intellectually and developmentally challenged population. We accomplish this by promoting a person-centered, compassionate, spiritually based, and integrated approach to care.

I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the services Rae’s Playze is providing for our daughter. She is 23 years old and has been on the NC Innovations Waiver since she was around 6 years old. While she was in school, we had caregivers in our home through several agencies over the years. A few were excellent, but many were not. After she graduated from Metro School, we continued to try to manage her care at home with caregivers from various agencies. Again, the help we got was sub-optimal – unreliable, untrustworthy, uncaring, and more.
The decision to have her attend a day program was difficult for us. She is our only child. She never enjoyed school, and I was afraid a day program would be the same. Much to my surprise, she loves attending Rae’s Playze. She is happy when she goes in the mornings and super happy when she comes home. Rae’s has opened up an opportunity for her to socialize with other people, go out into the community, and be treated like a princess. The transportation service is very helpful and allows me to get to work on time. The employees at Rae’s are compassionate, loving, and seem to genuinely care about the individuals who go there.
Putting her in a day program was one of the best decisions I have made. We have been extremely pleased with Rae’s Playze and the services provided.
